Megan Evans’ mom, Nicola was devastated after her son found the 14-year-old unconscious in her room. Although this happened in February 2017, the memories are still fresh for the grieving family. During the inquest, Nicola claimed that she discovered a cyber-bullying group called “I Hate Megan Evans.” Her child was the victim of cruel cyberbullying, yet no one in her school realized it.

According to Nicola, friends of the teenager firmly maintained that there was no bullying involved. But things did not seem entirely normal with Megan Evans before her death. The grieving mom shared how her daughter would often have outbursts. It all seemed strange as she was a “studious and well-behaved child.”

Nicola partially blames the school and friends who failed to recognize Megan’s change in behavior. While Megan had her episodes at home, she sometimes behaved rudely to teachers too. However, her school never reported this pattern to the parents. All they mostly cautioned her about was Megan’s incorrect uniforms.

On the day of her suicide, Megan Evans behaved rather normal. Her mom and dad were away from home that night when one of her brothers phoned them. He reported Megan’s absence. But a few moments later, the sibling discovered her body in a locked room.

Per The Sun, Investigation suggested that Megan might have gotten into an argument with another student. On top of that, she was seemingly concerned for her dad’s health. However, authorities investigating the case claimed that blaming Megan’s death on cyberbullying may be hard. Marholm Duthie of Pembrokeshire Council added that most of the conversations happened on Snapchat. Meanwhile, on Snapchat messages often disappear after a 24-hour period.
