15-Year-Old Boy Killed In Potential Gang-Related Shooting, Just An Hour Another Teen Was Fatally Stabbed

A 15-year-old boy died in a potential

“gang-related shooting in the Bronx Friday night,”

this occurred merely hours before another teen was fatally stabbed in East Harlem. Gunfire spewed near 1491 Macombs Rd., Mount Eden before 5 p.m., striking two teens, per the New York Post

The 15-year-old was struck in the chest and passed away at St. Barnabas Hospital, officials reported. The other teen, 17, was shot in the abdomen and is currently in stable condition at the hospital.

Three individuals fled, and one person of interest was detained, according to sources. Nearly ninety minutes later, three people, including 17-year-old Carlos Rivas, were stabbed in East Harlem. 

Rivas was stabbed in the chest and lower abdomen and died at Harlem Hospital, officials stated. Two other men, aged 62 and 22, were also injured and are in stable condition. No arrests occurred by late Friday.
