17-year-old Nikita Casap is facing serious state and federal charges after authorities discovered disturbing evidence linking him to a double homicide. The teenager was also linked to an alleged plot to assassinate the U.S. president.

According to a federal affidavit obtained by WISN 12 News, Casap expressed intentions to overthrow the government and commit acts of terrorism through written documents and messages. Investigators believe Casap fatally shot his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, on February 11.

Their bodies were found more than two weeks later during a welfare check at their Waukesha home. Mayer’s SUV, reported stolen, was later stopped in Kansas, with Casap behind the wheel. Police recovered $14,000 in cash, valuable jewelry, and a .357 Magnum revolver.

Casap now faces nine felony charges in Wisconsin, including two counts of first-degree murder and hiding a corpse. Federal authorities have added charges for conspiracy, attempting to assassinate the president, and use of weapons of mass destruction.

A search of Casap’s phone revealed connections to the extremist group “The Order of Nine Angles,” along with a manifesto calling for former President Trump’s assassination and images glorifying Adolf Hitler.

Investigators also uncovered evidence that Casap purchased a drone and explosives, allegedly intended for an attack. A classmate claimed Casap discussed plans to kill his parents and later revealed communication with a contact in Russia about toppling the U.S. government.

Authorities also found messages suggesting Casap planned to flee to Ukraine. His arraignment is scheduled for May 7.
