During the July 4 weekend, a four-month-old baby named Tanna Rae Wroblewski tragically passed away due to a heat-related sickness while on a boat with her relatives in burning temperatures of 121 degrees Fahrenheit at Arizona’s Lake Havasu. First responders quickly transported the baby to the hospital after being alerted on July 5, per the Independent.
Sadly, the child was declared deceased at the hospital.
Officials haven’t disclosed the reason why the newborn was on the boat before becoming sick. The Independent has reached out to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office to specify if the investigation is ongoing and if any charges have been pressed. According to the GoFundMe page, the child lost consciousness, and the family initiated CPR. Firefighters arrived on the scene and continued life-saving measures until the child was transported to the hospital.
The child’s relatives expressed their grief on the GoFundMe page.
“Our precious baby girl gave us her last smiles and we gave her our last kisses. We will never understand why you had to leave so soon, you were just too perfect,”
said the GoFundMe.
