Four-year-old Noah Ruiz adores Popsicles and SpongeBob. When he found a treat that combined both, he decided to order them—specifically, 918! He used his mom Jennifer Bryant’s Amazon Prime account without her knowledge while she was busy in another room during his remote learning, reports CNN.

“He kept saying the number ’51.’ ”

said his mother, Jennifer.

“All day he was walking around saying ‘51, 51.’”

However, the mother didn’t look deep into it noting that he repeats things from time to time. She said,

“I really wasn’t surprised because he was diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).”

Three heavy boxes, each 70 pounds, arrived at her sister’s house and needed immediate freezing to keep their contents fresh.

She then received a phone call.

“She was fussing and cussing, and she said to me, ‘You know, you really need to stop ordering all this stuff.’” “I said ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’”

Jennifer realized she owned 51 cases of SpongeBob Popsicles, totaling nearly $2,619. Suddenly, Noah’s constant repetition of

“51, 51…”

became clear and understandable to her.

Amazon refused to return the ice pops since they were from a third-party seller. However, they promised to donate the total amount of Popsicles to a charity that she wanted. Jennifer’s credit card is still being investigated and hasn’t issued a refund. A friend created a GoFundMe to help her pay for the Popsicles, and luckily, they were able to reach their goal and some additional revenue.
