A key witness in the Harvey Weinstein trial was struck by a car and is now hospitalized.
According to a confirmed news report, Dr. Barbara Ziv was hit by a car while crossing a street in Philadelphia and has multiple broken bones. She was a forensic psychologist who testified for the prosecution at the trial of Harvey Weinstein about “rape myths.”
She explained why Weinstein’s victims stayed friendly with him even after he raped them. Dr. Ziv’s testimony was considered crucial to the jury reaching a guilty verdict.
