A seasoned aviation officer Sergeant Hu has died while working at Ching Chuan Kang Air Base in Taiwan. The unfortunate incident took place when she was performing a routine check in the area.

Sergeant Hu was doing what she loved to do best when she sustained fatal injuries in the airbase of Ching Chaun, Taiwan. For seventeen years, she served in the military, so taking charge of aircraft was a regular action.

But on that fateful day, it was not business as usual, per The Sun. She had been called upon to work on the wheels of a private jet — an Indigenous Defense Fighter. At the time, the aircraft had just landed at the air base. Unfortunately, Hu, who was focused on the wheel chocks, was sucked into the engine.

Following the freak accident, she was taken to the hospital but didn’t make it out alive. According to Taipei Times, aviation experts still wonder how this horrific accident was possible. They argue that getting sucked by an aircraft engine was highly unlikely. However, a seasoned aviation critic maintains that the engine must have been running during the routine check.

Reportedly, all hands are on deck to determine what went wrong. Additionally, local news sources confirmed that authorities have taken up Sergeant Hu’s case to prove how the Ching Chuan Kang air base freak accident happened. Investigations so far suggest that the aviation mechanic should not be able to fit inside an IDF engine.
