Alexis Skyy has revealed why her recovery house closed. The media personality disclosed to fans in a livestream that authorities shut it down because she didn’t obtain a license. Skyy claimed an antagonist reported her for not possessing the required paperwork. She also blamed her ignorance, claiming she didn’t know a permit was needed to run a recovery house. However, fans are on her back for claiming ignorance, especially because of the delicate work recovery houses do.
Alexis Skyy Blames Hater For Recovery House Closure
Alexis Skyy recently took to social media to discuss some of her failed business ventures, which included her recovery house. During the livestream, the model revealed that she ran a recovery house that was forced to shut down. She claimed a “hater” reported to the government that she ran the business without a license. Skyy said per Onsite!:
“Somebody was hating on me, unfortunately, and they called the state on me, and I had to shut down my recovery house. Isn’t that crazy, but had I known that I needed the proper license to run a recovery house, I would have never got shut down.”
As she continued speaking on the livestream, the reality TV star read a comment from one of her fans. The fan wrote, “Open it back up,” referring to the recovery house. Alexis Skyy replied that she would consider it, but said she had started something else since the recovery house shut down. “Maybe, but I’m enjoying what I’m doing now,” she told her audience.
Alexis Skyy Promises To Share Her Mistakes In Business
Alexis Skyy also promised to be open about the other businesses she ran besides the recovery house. She told fans she would be “transparent” about her mistakes so they could avoid making the same. She said:
“Like, just because something looks like it’s making money doesn’t mean that’s for you, because a lot of people see people on Instagram and they put this facade like ‘Oh start this start that.’ But you really got to go into a lane that really makes sense for yourself and that you’re going to wake up every day, and you’re going to enjoy doing.”
The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star revealed that she once opened a salon when she shouldn’t have. Skyy explained that she did so after being asked to model for a salon. However, she eventually acquired the salon. Skyy disclosed that she later sold it to one of her hairstylists.
“I let her buy it from me, because, honestly, it was during the pandemic. I don’t really like the hair stuff and I didn’t really like it, you know, it was just a lot. It was a headache. I was just like, ‘You know what? This is your passion,’ And I sold it to her,” Skyy shared.

They wondered why she thought she could run a care business without obtaining documentation or going through due process.
