In Ocala, Florida, 35-year-old nurse Alexis Von Yates faces charges of sexual battery involving her partner’s 15-year-old son, as reported by Law & Crime.

Yates, who lost her medical license, allegedly seduced the teen during his summer visit. Then they engaged in inappropriate behavior spanning weeks. On July 26, 2024, after putting her children to bed, Yates joined the teen on the couch, where they used a THC vape and watched movies.

Court documents state she made explicit comments, expressing sexual frustration, before the encounter escalated to oral sex and intercourse. The boy’s father, a lineman, returned home unexpectedly, discovering them naked.

The teen fled, and his father, distraught, drove him to his grandparents’ house. Yates reportedly flirted with the teen persistently, making suggestive remarks at a gym and during other interactions.

She even contacted him post-incident, expressing regret that they were interrupted. A family member anonymously reported the allegations, leading to Yates’ November arrest.

The Florida Department of Health revoked her license, citing her lack of judgment and moral character. Charged with felony lewd or lascivious battery, Alexis Von Yates denies the accusations and awaits trial.
