Ari Lennox has joined the list of celebrities canceling shows and it’s her Los Angeles audience feeling the heat. The bird voice recently addressed fans via Instagram confessing the real reason behind the decision. The entertainer said tickets for her Los Angeles show weren’t being sold as expected. She confessed that canceling the show wasn’t a rushed decision. However, it was the best line of action amid her IRS debt woes.
Why Ari Lennox Had to Call Off Her Los Angeles Show
While she addressed fans, the singer explained that she took it personally and couldn’t tell why. As to whether the show will be rescheduled, she couldn’t assure them of that either. Despite the setback, The Jasmine Brand reports that she is committed to releasing her album and a new single which may be the silver lining. While explaining the reason for the cancellation of the Los Angeles show, Ari Lennox believes that things will be different with her upcoming album.
In the meantime, she is yet to share the exact release date. What is known is that the project will be out during the first quarter of 2025. But what fans can be hopeful for is hearing their favorite R&B singer‘s voice on October 18.
At the beginning of the month, she established that a new song titled “Smoke” would drop. This song will mark Ari Lennox’s studio return since she went on a one-year break. The last time AL released a single was a year ago and it was titled “Get Close.”
Despite the suspense, growth is expected from her first album in 2025. Fans would recall that her last single was produced by Wu10 and DZL. This time, Ari Lennox chose to work with the iconic BongoByTheWay. This Nigerian producer is noted for his work with Ye, The Game, Mary J.Blige, Teyana Taylor, Jazmine Sullivan, etc. Fans will determine the result of their collaboration next year.
