An Arizona Biltmore’s Phoenix statue hits a young visitor who toured the resort. Authorities are yet to tie the incident to any foul play. But unfortunately, the little child is now dead.
The young boy was killed by a Phoenix statue given to Arizona Biltmore in 1985. It was crafted by Frank Lloyd Wright an architect and Alfonso Ianelli in 1914. According to the Phoenix Fire Department on November 27, around 8:45 am, they rescued an injured child in distress at a luxury Phoenix resort.
The boy, aged 8, sustained a serious injury to his head after Arizona Biltmore’s Phoenix statue landed on him. CNN affiliate KPNX reported that the first responders rushed the child to a nearby hospital. But sadly, due to the extent of his injury, he did not make it. Authorities claimed that he died a few hours later.
Although the Phoenix Police Department has refused to give further means of identification, they revealed little details about the tragedy. Following their investigation, the police realized there was no foul play. Consequently, it has led them to describe it as a tragic accident.
The city’s fire department captain, Todd Keller, confirmed that investigations are still ongoing. The authorities hope to understand how and why the Arizona Biltmore’s Phoenix statue fell on the child.
Meanwhile, the resort has released a statement addressing the issue. They extended a heart of comfort to the grieving family. Their statement affirmed their commitment to prioritizing guests.
