The rapper had just finished performing at a club booking and was in town for some party time with friends and fans. However, authorities nabbed her for twerking on top of a car and took her with them. Nevertheless, the Baddies star has been released.

Baddies star Diamond The Body was arrested following a police encounter on December 29. The rapper was twerking on top of a car when cops stopped her car and took her in. Diamond had just finished performing at a club in Iowa when the incident happened. Video footage from clips on social media shows a crowd gathered as officers searched the rapper and took her in. Another person at the scene kept yelling. “They making her get off the car,” the person shouted as the police took Diamond out of her car.

Clips of Diamond The Body being arrested went viral quickly, and fans wondered why she was taken in. However, many were confident she would soon be released. Someone noted:
“She never went to JAIL they just took her with them so the riot would stop!! they let her go and she was never BOOKED,” they said, adding, “My girl gooooodt made her bag and allll & she’s STILL in IWOA doing ANOTHER booking.”
A second fan said:
“Jail for twerking??? So they are out here abusing the law, huh?”
Meanwhile, many fans also criticized Diamond for twerking publicly. Someone commented:
“Y’all just be doing shit everywhere not knowing laws🤦🏽♀️.”
A fourth fan advised:
“So stop fucking tweaking All over the place like dang!!!!” adding laughter emojis.
Some of Diamond’s fans also asked her to sue the police for touching her inappropriately instead of asking a female officer to search her.
Diamond The Body Shares Update After Getting Arrested
After getting arrested, the artist took to social media to announce her release. She also assured fans nothing happened with the police and that she was responsible for the incident.
“I’m ok guys they didn’t keep me they let me go love y’all thank u for the support and concern,” the reality TV star wrote on Instagram, with love and prayer emojis.
Diamond The Body shared another update shortly after to thank fans for rallying around when the police arrested her. She also promised to be back in the state.
“Yo last night was lit af 🔥🔥🔥 like Iowa yall damn near started a riot about me !!,” she wrote. “I was really disturbing the peace 😂 love yall so much !! I’m free im good they can’t hold a real one too long 💪🏾🔥❤️ ill definitely be back yall know know how to party.”
In a later post, the Drive the Boat rapper reiterated that she was arrested because she “was disturbing the peace in the streets” and thanked DJ Smiles (Jibri Petroske) for getting her out.
Diamond The Body’s release has made friends and fans happy. Hopefully, the rapper will learn a lesson and ensure she keeps the peace next time, regardless of her intention to party.
