Who would think the ones who protect the President of the United States could barely protect themselves?

Well in California, a member of the U.S. Secret Service got stuck up at gunpoint and was robbed, according to a release by the Tustin Police Department.

On Saturday after President Joe Biden’s campaign fundraiser, a Secret Service agent reportedly had a bag stolen at gunpoint in a residential neighborhood. The agent also fired his gun at some point.

“The employee discharged their service weapon during the incident but unknown if the assailants were struck,” the statement continued. “We are thankful that the employee did not sustain any injuries.”

The suspects are still on the loose and reportedly fled in a 2004-2006 silver Infiniti FX35 or similar car, per the report.

The suspect got away with some of the agent’s items.

The night of the robbery Biden was rubbing elbows with Barack Obama, George Clooney, Julia Roberts at his star-studded campaign fundraiser, which reportedly brought in $30 million.
