Bill Gates’ recent declaration about his time with Jeffrey Epstein shows that authentic friendship cannot be bought with money. The Microsoft founder recently spoke to the Wall Street Journal and poured out his heart.

Bill Gates reminisced about Epstein who has since died by suicide while speaking to the news outlet. The 69-year-old billionaire who spent years attending events with the disgraced billionaire admitted it was an unwise decision.

At first, Bill Gates intended for the Jeffrey Epstein to help his global health philanthropy cause. However, he soon realized that that was never going to happen. In hindsight, the Microsoft founder believed his decision was a “huge mistake.”

Recall that Epstein was imprisoned for federal conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. But during his time behind bars, before his trial, he took his life. Two years before Epstein’s demise, Wall Street Journal reported that he threatened Bill Gates of revealing an alleged affair with Russian native, Mila Antonova.

While Antonova and the billionaire allegedly dated secretly from 1994 to 2021, his ex-wife, Melinda Gates, did not address the rumors at the time. Instead, she confirmed that her former husband’s friendship with Epstein contributed to their failed marriage.
