Another woman, Ivanna Bay, has come forward claiming that she is also pregnant by Nigerian singer/songwriter, Davido. She recently posted a video on her story revealing a positive pregnancy test.
“I woke up this morning to see that I’m not the only woman he got pregnant,”
said Bay.

The news comes after Anita Brown filmed herself taking a pregnancy test claiming that she is pregnant by the singer. Both woman are saying that they didn’t know Davido was married.

It looks like popular Afrobeat artist, Davido, is underfire after influencer and entrepreneur, Anita Brown, is making claims of being pregnant by the Nigerian artist. Brown took the claims to social media as she filmed herself taking a pregnancy test and defended herself against fans who accused the woman of being a gold digger. In another video, she claimed that she didn’t know the the Unavailable singer was married.
“What really kills me is this married man narrative that y’all are dragging, like, ‘Oh, I’m dealing with a married man.’ Cut it out, no, I did not know he was married,”
said Brown.
“Go to his page, does it look like he’s married,”
she added.

The 2023 BET Awards rolled out its pink carpet for the biggest names in entertainment from all over the world to celebrate culture’s biggest night. Stars strutted the carpet showcasing their unique looks and vibrant personalities. The carpet had appearances from Busta Rhymes, Lola Brooke, Summer Walker, Lil Meech, Davido, Lance Gross, Lil Uzi Vert and so much more.
The evening could not go on without discussing the triumph of African American people, the music and honoring the achievement that is 50 years of hip hop.
“It’s about watching this thing flourish, and evolve,”
Christopher Martin, famously known as Kid from the legendary Kid n’ Play said when speaking about the growth that hip-hop has seen.
“We need both [old school and new school hip hop]. This thing doesn’t keep going without both. We want 50 more years,”
New York battle rapper and podcast host Math Hoffa added to the discussion. Many also paid their respect to Busta Rhymes who was Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
Jess Hilarious named the rap legend as one of the most quotable rappers of all time.
“Busta Rhymes, like what are we talking about,”
she acknowledged.
Comedian Michael Blackson also named the honoree as one of his top five favorite rappers. He added,
“I got to give Busta Rhymes his props”
During the ceremony, in honor of 50 years of Hip Hop, Kid Cupri took us on a Hip Hop journey, which showcased the evolution of the popular genre with performances from Warren G to T.I and Yo-Yo. Each performance served as growth for Hip Hop as the crowd went wild for each unexpected performance. Patti LaBelle performed a tribute to the late Tina Turner singing Simply The Best. The crowd instantly responded in awe when Migos‘ members, Quavo and Offset, seemingly reunited as they performed together on the main stage giving a tribute to the late Takeoff.
Busta Rhymes grew emotional when receiving the long overdue Lifetime Achievement Award. In his speech, he pointed out that he was nervous when Leaders of The New School split, adding that his desire wasn’t to be a solo artist but despite it all, he came out on top and evolved into a successful solo act.
The show concluded with the honoree performing his hottest records and bringing out legendary performers from older artists, to the newest ones. BIA hit the stage with Rhymes as they performed Beach Ball together. The honoree also paid tribute to his Jamaican heritage bringing out Spice, Skillibeng, Dexta Daps and much more.

Onsite caught up with Jess Hilarious at the 2023 BET Awards. The comedian who has been dabbling into media as the guest co-host of ‘The Breakfast Club’ reflected on her popularized segment ‘Jess With The Mess’ merely days after her public back and forth with Summer Walker and Lil Meech.
The 8th Annual Black Music Honors, co-hosted by actor/comedian DeRay Davis and actress/singer LeToya Luckett, celebrates legendary African-American artists who have impacted and made remarkable musical contributions to African-American music as well as American music worldwide. The blue carpet experience featured star-studded appearances from SWV, Anthony Hamilton, David Banner, Roxanne Shanté, Sevyn Streeter, LeToya Luckett, and many more. Each artist showed off their elegant drapings as they all appeared to be excited for the anticipated ceremony.
This year’s ceremony honored Hip-Hop icon Missy Elliot with the Music Innovator Icon award for her influential contributions to the genre. SWV was celebrated with the Urban Music Icon award. The R&B Music Icon award was presented to singer-songwriter Evelyn “Champagne” King. R&B/Soul artist Jeffrey Osborne received the Legends Award and gospel trailblazers The Hawkins Family went home with the Gospel Music Icon award.
Hamilton discussed what he anticipated the most from the event. The Best of Me singer revealed that he was most excited about African Americans uniting to promote positivity. When asked what he is most looking forward to from the ceremony, he responded,
“just us coming together in a positive light and loving on each other. The honorees and the people that we’re celebrating have done so much for the culture, Missy and SWV, and Jeffrey Osborne, so I’m just happy to be a part of that.”
Many talents who graced the blue carpet discussed their enthusiasm to witness honoree’s like SWV, Missy Elliot, The Hawkins Family, and others get their flowers.
“I’m going to say it 10 times tonight, I have to see Missy Elliot live doing her thing. I’ve grown up with her, I’ve grown up with Hip-Hop. Music itself is just my life, I was in music before acting so this means so much to me,”
said actress Brely Evans
Hip-Hop legend Roxanne Shanté also expressed her excitement for the ceremony. She confessed that she is looking forward to seeing Missy Elliot being honored. She went on to say that it’s important for women in Hip-Hop to be recognized especially with hip-hop turning 50 years old this year.
“I am most looking forward to my Hip-Hop sister receiving her flowers while she’s still here so I’m definitely here to support her. I’m here to see everyone but mainly that is my main focus right there because, you know, celebrating 50 years of hip hop, one of the main things we want to do is be able to show how much support we have for each other especially women,”
said the Roxanne’s Revenge rapper.
Honoree’s SWV admitted that they’re fans of everyone who is set to receive their flowers at the ceremony. Group member Lelee said,
“We’re fans of everybody that’s being recognized tonight so we’re happy we get to be a fan tonight.”
The Black Music Honors is scheduled to premiere on June 3 on the Stellar Network.
