Police have now arrested Christopher Holness Jr. who is awaiting trial following a heinous crime. The young man touted his deeds by sharing a photo of his deceased grandmother with relatives. Via recorded phone calls, the suspect defended his actions, claiming it was a sacrifice to God.

The city of Washington, D.C. was left in utter shock after police responded to an overwhelming in-house crime. His grandmother, Sandra Mundle, 89, was a retired school teacher who met her end in the hands of the grandson she loved dearly. Upon the arrival of the police, Mundle lay in a pool of blood with stab wounds to her chest. She was reportedly stabbed thirteen times.

The deceased sustained injuries on her arms, eyes, legs, eyelids, and abdomen. People later obtained a probable cause affidavit which spotted that Christopher Holness Jr. basked in his crime by calling family members, using his grandmother’s phone. He went on about how he killed Mundle who was deemed as the necessary “sacrifice to God.”

When one of the relatives doubted his words, the killer-grandson showed proof by forwarding a gory image of the deceased. Another family member immediately began to record their conversation, grasping every confession Holness Jr. made about the crime.

In the legal paperwork obtained by People, the suspect did not deny his deed. Rather, he told the police that his grandmother needed to die. Christopher Holness Jr. is still in custody awaiting a preliminary court hearing on January 30. Meanwhile, a relative has told the police that the suspect suffers from Schizophrenia and it was not sure whether he was taking his medications.
