Cops Still Searching For Thieves Who Broke Into Elderly Man’s Apartment, Pistol-Whipped Him, Tied Him Up, and Stole $28

NYPD

Officials are still seeking two criminals masked as deliverymen who robbed an 88-year-old man in his Bronx apartment last month. The elderly man was assaulted after opening the door to them, who then pistol-whipped him and pushed their way inside his apartment, per the New York Post

The two men flung the elderly man onto his bed and tied him up while searching his belongings. They stole a cell phone, around $28, and a wallet before escaping in a black 2018 Honda CRV, officials say.

The unnamed elderly man suffered a head injury from the pistol-whipping and was transported to Lincoln Medical Center for stitches. Luckily, he is in stable condition. NYPD released footage showing the two suspects walking in the apartment complex hallway.
