CVS Health has removed pictures of its executives from its website amid the ongoing search for the person who killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. CVS confirmed this to FOX Business and declined to provide further comments, per the New York Post.
This action comes as the healthcare industry is on high alert after Brian Thompson was shot outside a Manhattan hotel in a planned attack. He was in town for a Healthcare conference from Minnesota and officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information about the shooter.
The reason behind the murder hasn’t been publicized by officials; however, reports say the health insurance company has been facing backlash lately for reportedly
“wrongfully denying claims.”
