Bill Haney has chosen to stand up for his son, Devin Haney, and the latter’s baby mama, Leena Sayed. In a recent interview, Bill commented on the controversial footage obtained from one of Young Thug’s jail calls and the subsequent tweet involving Sayed. Bill claimed that Thug’s response to the revelations reflected his inability to play fair and accept that Sayed had moved on with another person. He also disclosed that the drama surrounding his son’s baby mama has not moved his son.
Bill Haney Calls Devin Haney’s Baby Mama “A Catch”
Devin Haney’s dad had a few words to say to Young Thug about his son and baby mama. The boxing manager stated that Thug didn’t behave honorably after Law & Order released a video of his jail call with Sayed in 2022. He also suggested that the rapper felt bad about letting “a catch” like Devin Haney’s baby mama go.
“She’s his twin, and she’s got more P than a lot of niggas and all of that other shit, but then that shows that you believe that she’s a catch. That she is somebody,” Bill said.
Bill Claims Young Thug Lied About Sayed
Bill added that Thug should have respected Sayed’s choice.
“And for her to say, ‘Okay, that was before I met Dev, but now, I’m securing a relationship that I’m in.’ He should have just saluted it instead of being in his feelings and coming back with all of this whole extra other shit. Well, in the big P, I’ve said you got to let the woman do the choosing,” he noted. “She chose publicly which way she was going, and instead of saluting that, you come back and say, ‘No, oh, I can have that shit if I wanted it,’ which makes no sense.”
Devin Haney’s dad also alleged that Thug found it hard to accept that his son’s baby mama didn’t want him anymore. He said that despite Sayed openly saying she no longer wanted the rapper, Thug ran a false narrative online that the public went with. However, he revealed that his son has “been in the public eye with public figures” and can “stomach” Young Thug’s drama.” He added:
“So I think it was a lil bit of lying inside those tweets and with this big P… unless it’s his big plan, and the P stands for plan.”
Young Thug Claims Devin Haney Is His Twin
Shortly after the jail call video between Devin’s baby mama, Leena Sayed, and Young Thug was released, the rapper took to X, formerly Twitter, to claim Sayed as his twin. He later posted that he could still have the model, writing:
“I can have that lil shi*t right now if I wanted it, but she been pushing the p harder then n n ggas lol that’s the twin… I got who I want.”
Meanwhile, Sayed has responded that she’s nobody’s twin. She also pointed out that the jail call conversation happened before she met Devin.
Devin Haney has responded to the criticisms of him and his baby mama. However, his cryptic response suggests he is unbothered by the trolls and Young Thug’s controversial statements. Hopefully, fans can leave the couple alone, especially since it’s been established that Devin’s baby mama didn’t cheat on him.
