Diddy’s legal team is putting the heat on his sex abuse accuser Lil Rod and throwing salt on his claims, saying that he is just trying to get to the bag by bringing Diddy’s name down.
On Monday, a request was made to dismiss Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ case against the music mogul. This happened in Manhattan Federal Court, The JasmineBrand reports.
Diddy denies Lil Rod’s claims. Lil Rod accused him of sexual abuse, drugging, and bullying. These incidents allegedly happened while Lil Rod worked as a music producer from September 2022 to November 2023.
In March, Lil Rod’s attorney Tyrone Blackburn file another complaint saying Diddy was a member of a “RICO enterprise” and behind a sex ring.
Diddy’s recent motion says that Lil Rod’s accusations are vague.
According to the motion:
“Running to nearly 100 pages, it includes countless tall tales, shameless celebrity namedrops, and irrelevant images.”
Diddy’s attorney continued:
“Mr. Jones’s lawsuit is pure fiction — a shameless attempt to create media hype and extract a quick settlement. There was no RICO conspiracy and Mr. Jones was not threatened, groomed, assaulted, or trafficked.”
“We look forward to proving — in a court of law — that all of Mr. Jones’ claims are made-up and must be dismissed.”
Blackburn hit back saying,
“This is clearly a billing exercise by individuals who are late to the game and are attempting to fill their pockets before their client is indicted.”
