Dr. Heavenly Kimes has not taken to Gizelle Bryant’s comments about Married to Medicine and has fired a response. Her reaction follows Bryant’s revelations on her podcast that the medical reality TV show has become too drama-filled. Dr. Heavenly took offense at the latter’s remarks about the show seeming organized for views. She also tried to score a goal by saying she doesn’t watch the Real Housewives of Potomac show.
Dr. Heavenly Hits Back At Gizelle Bryant
An offended Dr. Heavenly recently took to her YouTube channel to blast and try to one-up Gizelle Bryant. She responded to Byrant’s comments that the Bravo show Married to Medicine was “produced.”
“What word did she say? Produced?” Dr. Heavenly asked on her self-produced broadcast. “I don’t know what to tell her because I don’t even watch your s**t,” referring to the Real Housewives of Potomac.
Dr. Heavenly then mentioned the events she knew took place on RHOP, which she claimed to have discovered from a clip.
“That’s all I know bout they show, so I can’t say if it is produced or not,” she said. The dentist continued, “But the great thing is I’m saying this to your face, ‘At least, you’re watching that s**t cause I’m not watching yours. I’m sorry.'”
However, she claimed she loved the RHOP ladies and thanked them for watching the medical reality TV show. Dr. Heavenly also opined that Gizelle Bryant’s remarks were meant to be a “hit to Phaedra” and added:
“If you know, you know; if you don’t, you don’t.”
Gizelle Bryant’s Comments On “Married to Medicine”
Dr. Heavenly’s angst resulted from Gizelle Bryant’s comments on her and Robyn Dixon’s Reasonably Shady podcast. Bryant told her co-host that she doesn’t like some of the happenings in the latest season of Married to Medicine. Since Dixon wasn’t following the medical reality TV show, the Real Housewives of Potomac star gave her some tea. She told her co-host:
“So we have all of these exes. All of this mess. And I’m typically here for the mess. I love me some Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. So I am here for the mess. Not this mess.”
Bryant continued:
“I was kind of like feeling bad for Phaedra. I felt like from a producer standpoint, this is too much. We crossed a line. This is too much!”
The line in question was Phaedra having to stay at a couple’s trip with her ex-husband’s mistress from when they were still married.
“The whole thing is set up to be messy and it reeks of that. It reeks of producer-produced. It just…I literally said no more,” Bryant added.
‘Married To Medicine’ Is Becoming Messy
Although Dr. Heavenly took offense at Gizelle Bryant’s remarks and flipped, many share the latter’s opinion. For fans of the show, Married to Medicine is becoming messy for a medical drama. Dr. Heavenly also probably responded to Gizelle Bryant because she intentionally or unintentionally orchestrated the mess that divided the cast. She invited Phaedra Parks’s ex-husband, Apollo Nida, to a couple’s trip, and while Nida had promised his wife wouldn’t be there, she eventually came.
During filming, Parks revealed to the show’s producers that Nida cheated on her with his wife, Sherien Copes. They were still married then, and she was pregnant with their youngest. Meanwhile, Nida and Copes confronted Parks because she showed up with Apollo’s friend as her date. Parks, her date, and two other cast members left before filming ended. Meanwhile, another cast member, Toya Bush-Harris, confirmed Bryant’s assertions by saying some of the cast acted like mean girls.
Fans sided with Gizelle Bryant against Dr. Heavenly; some have even commented that the dentist doesn’t act like one. Bryant’s remarks are also popular, considering the sentiments about the latest season, which many say feel forced and messy. Meanwhile, some have also remarked that all reality TV shows have the same problem today. Hopefully, cast members and producers will begin to prioritize content over drama.
