Druski is taking accountability for his actions on Kai Cenat’s stream. The comedian participated in Cenat’s Thanksgiving dinner alongside many others. While there, Druski told a joke that made a kid cry, causing the boy’s mom to call the actor out on social media. Druski apologized for the viral moment but revealed that Kevin Hart’s comment led to the displeasing situation.
Druski Makes A Kid Cry On Livestream
Kai Cenat ran a subathon in November titled Mafiathon 2 in honor of his “Kai Mafia” fanbase. During the month-long event, he hosted comedians Kevin Hart and Druski for a Thanksgiving-themed special alongside several actors. One of the child actors was an eight-year-old playing Pugsley, a character from The Addams Family. In the event leading to Druski’s joke that makes a kid cry, the internet personality picks on the boy playing Pugsley and calls him “fat.”
He doesn’t stop and goes on to call the kid a “little fat n***a.” A clip from the viral moment shows the moment Druski yells over from his end at the dinner table at the little boy, asking him, “What’s your name, little n***a? I’m talking about the little fat n***a.” Meanwhile, Cenat tries to stop Druski’s rant and asks him to calm down. However, Druski continues. He says:
“He’s a fat n***a! Y’all have been saying that to me all f***ing night! Everyone’s calling me the fat n***a! But, I can’t call another lil fat n***a a fat n***a? F**k that! You want to have fatphobia when it comes to the kid, but not me? Like, come on! What about me, n***a?!”
At this point, the eight-year-old bursts into tears, and Kai Cenat walks over to comfort him while criticizing Druski for his outburst. Druski also hugs the boy and tries to apologize.
Druski Says Kevin Hart Started Moment That Makes A Kid Cry
After the incident where Druski made a kid cry, the boy’s mom went online to condemn the influencer for acting rashly toward her son. She called him names, including “Gorilla,” and allowed her son to speak. The boy said Druski insulted him and added:
“I was sitting there in character because, well, I’m supposed to play ‘Pugsley’ from ‘The Addams Family.’ So, we mostly don’t talk. Then, he insulted me. Druski insulted me multiple times, and if you check on the YouTube video, they cut it out.”
After the incident, Druski appeared with Jayda Cheaves and Dess Dior on The Act Normal podcast, where he shed light on it. He revealed that Kevin Hart prompted the comments that made the kid cry. Hart had leaned into Druski before the latter launched into his rant and whispered that it would be good if the kid missed a meal. However, the clips flying around didn’t catch that. Meanwhile, The Breakfast Club replayed that moment and captured Hart’s voice, confirming Druski’s disclosure.
Druski Apologized For Making Kid Cry
Druski apologized for making the kid cry on The Act Normal podcast but disclosed that he went that far because he wasn’t sure if the boy was in on the joke. However, he clarified that although Kevin Hart kickstarted the whole thing, he went too far. He also shared that he apologized to the boy. Online videos show the actor talking to the boy with an adult nearby. Druski told the kid:
“I got a couple of drinks, but that ain’t no excuse, bro. I’m a bigger dude, you’re a bigger dude, and we’re all on the same page.”
“I really do apologize,” he said, adding, “I understand we’ve got the same mindset. I’m getting a little ahead of myself, I’m getting excited here. You know what I mean? But, I rock with you.”
The internet personality asked the boy for his name and learned he was Joseph. Druski replied:
“Joseph, you’re a good dude, Joe. You’re gonna go far. I got a cousin named JoJo.”
Kai Cenat Defends Druski
After seeing the mom’s castigating clip online, Kai Cenat waded into the discussion. He confirmed that Druski apologized after the incident and explained why the viral moment was cut out. Cenat said:
“I’m going to be honest… as soon as it was said, we caught it and said, ‘He’s a kid, chill.’ But not only that, I could kind of see that this is forced a little bit. Like, mom dukes is behind the camera saying, ‘Say this, this, and this.'”
He continued:
“We cut it out solely for the fact that we didn’t want to put it on YouTube to make a joke out of it. Anyway, so that’s how serious it is. We made sure we cut it out, so that no one who views it on YouTube can even see the joke.”
He added that Druski felt so bad that he apologized to Joseph twice after calling him “fat” and making him cry.
