A disturbing video has surfaced, showing a Texas restaurant owner being attacked by a group of individuals who refused to pay for their meals at his Mexican restaurant in Austin. The owner confronted them; however, he was sadly, yanked to the ground and assaulted, per Fox News.
As they left, the rowdy group started breaking dishes. Sergio Alberto Vazquez decided to take out his phone and went outside to photograph their car’s license plate.
“And the guy he just came down from the car and started beating me,”
said the restaurant owner, Sergio Alberto Vazquez. Reports added that Vazquez is in his 70s.
In the video, Vazquez’s son and another customer attempted to assist during the violent incident outside the restaurant. Vazquez was seen on the ground, struggling to stand, as a female, who was not visible in the footage, seemingly tried to hit him. Authorities were informed by Vazquez that he was attacked and he had visible injuries to his face, as reported by local sources. The group then fled in their SUV.
Officials are still seeking the suspects.
