Black’s emotional breakdown comes amid his legal battle with one of his four baby mamas. The No Flockin rapper’s ex accused him of physical, verbal, and financial abuse. Black has denied the allegations, but it apparently got to him, leading to him crying on a livestream.
Kodak Black Says He Has Never Experienced Real Love
Kodak Black’s actions on Wednesday night, May 7, troubled fans when he began lamenting about real love. He was on an Instagram Live when he broke down and wept, saying he had never experienced genuine affection before. “I never experienced love before. I never did,” he said in the video clips that went viral afterward. “I never experienced this s**t, bro. I never,” he added. While this was not Black’s first time breaking down, fans were worried because he didn’t seem to be on drugs.
The 27-year-old father of five has been in the news many times for acting weirdly after consuming drugs. He went viral on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon late last year after he suffered a reaction to substances. He also admitted in early 2024 that he was taking up to 100 Percocet pills a day at some point. He’s been to rehab several times since then. However, fans worried as Kodak Black climbed into bed, crying audibly and mumbling between sniffles about real love.
Kodak Black’s Baby Mama Accuses Him Of Abuse
Kodak Black’s lamentation about lacking real love comes amid his legal battles with his ex-girlfriend, Maranda Johnson. Johnson, one of Black’s baby mamas and mother of two of his children, accused the rapper of abuse. She claimed that the Skrt rapper abused her verbally and physically, adding that he withheld adequate financial support. In a different filing, Johnson alleged that Black and his mother took her son away for almost three weeks.
She claimed they did it without informing or telling her of his whereabouts. Johnson filed a motion for emergency custody afterward and is requesting more child support. However, Kodak Black denied his ex’s claims on Instagram Live. He accused her of clout chasing and insisted he was an active father. His lawyer, Bradford Cohen, also rejected the allegations and called them “pure fiction from a very selfish young lady,” on his Instagram account.
He affirmed Black’s declaration of being a present father. He also claimed Johnson wanted more money because she thought she deserved it for having two children for the rapper. Cohen called the lawsuit against his client a “disgusting money grab,” expressing disgust about “how fathers are treated as cash cows.”
Kodak Black Is Suing Meranda Johnson
Bradford Cohen also revealed that Kodak Black has sued Johnson for damage to his home and vehicles. The latter destroyed her baby daddy’s property after getting into a fight with another of his baby mamas. Johnson herself shared photos of the damage, worth over $150,000.
“She is already being sued for the admitted damage to the vehicles and home. She will now be sued for defamation,” Cohen revealed, adding, “I really wanted to stay on the sidelines on this because it’s family law. But now I will have to show why you don’t threaten my clients.”
Johnson has a history of fighting Kodak Black’s other baby mamas and getting into trouble with the law. The altercation at the birthday party, where she destroyed property, prompted a call to the police. Police officers also arrested her in June 2024 on charges of burglary with assault or battery and grand theft. Johnson allegedly attacked another of Kodak Black’s exes.
Meanwhile, Kodak Black’s cry for real love worries many, and they have expressed concerns about his mental health. However, some also speculate that the Super Gremlin rapper was trolling.
