The professional basketball player brushes his teeth first. When he is done, he hands over the toothbrush to his fiancee, who cleans it and uses it to brush, too. A text on the video read, “It’s not real love unless you’re sharing toothbrushes.” Howard and Luciani captioned the post:

Additionally, sharing a toothbrush can transfer Streptococcus mutans, the bacteria responsible for tooth decay. Thus, it is recommended that people refrain from sharing a toothbrush.
