Netizens are getting another update about Florence Mirsky and the valet attendant case. The social media influencer recently confessed that she lied about the valet worker groping her. She said she felt horrible about the incident and blamed Donald Trump for aggravating the issue by deporting innocent people. However, Mirsky’s father tried to downplay the impact of her actions in a bid to get her to let go of the issue.

Florence Mirsky Confesses Truth About Valet

Florence Mirsky told her dad and another unidentified male that none of the valet workers she harassed at Beverly Hills, California, groped her. She explained that she lied because she was scared and expressed sorrow over the continued backlash she was receiving. Mirsky confessed during another rant video when the other person asked her if the valet touched her. She replied, “The guy did not touch me.” this prompted her interviewer to ask why she lied.

In response, Mirsky said:

“Because I was frantic, and I didn’t know what to do because I did something so stupid. It’s not about racism; it’s about principle.”

Mirsky’s dad then commented and asked her to learn to keep quiet next time. The influencer agreed, adding:

“I shouldn’t be speaking to anybody like that.”

She also claimed to have behaved that way because she had lost her temper.

Florence Mirsky Blames Trump For Backlash

During her rant, Florence Mirsky tried to rationalize why the public was very angry with her for assaulting the valet workers. She blamed the heavy backlash on Trump’s immigration policies and said Trump’s actions aggravated the response. The social media influencer told her dad:

“Trump is deporting people, not only Mexicans. So you came to America, you came from Ukraine, and you’re living here in this generation. Trump becomes President, and you came here to start a new life with me, my mother.”

She added:

“Trump takes an innocent person and deports them. I understand why the world would be upset with me. I said a racial slur, especially with what’s going on in the world today.”

Mirsky stated that she didn’t “think it would have been as bad” if the incident happened at another time. However, when she asked the unidentified person if he agreed, he replied that the response would “still have been really bad.”

Florence Mirsky’s Father Downplays Her Behavior

Florence Mirsky agreed that her attitude toward the valet attendants was bad and especially expressed anger at herself for using a racial slur. She claimed to have been making and deleting apology posts because she didn’t know how to apologize or what to say. After admitting she “genuinely felt horrible,” her father tried to downplay the situation. He told her to get over the incident and that her behavior was not a big deal because “half of the country is racist.” he also claimed not to care about the rants online.

However, the influencer countered him. She said her father doesn’t understand the situation completely because of his age. Florence Mirsky said she didn’t want to be remembered as a racist and expressed regret over her attitude toward the valets. Mirsky has been under fire since a clip of her confronting valet workers and using a racial slur went viral on Tuesday, January 28. She claimed the President was doing good by deporting people she presumed were Mexicans because they “rape and kill people.”

Many people are skeptical of Florence Mirsky’s apologies, rants, and tears because it seems like a trick from a popular playbook for evading accountability. Some also think it is a trick to avoid being sued for defamation. Hopefully, Mirsky’s situation will help raise more awareness about racism and respect for all people.
