(Volusia County Corrections)

A kinky encounter gone wrong left a man with multiple injuries after he was allegedly attacked on a Volusia County beach by a Florida couple.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Alana Cagle, 18 arranged to meet the victim at the beach, having connected with her online. The two planned to fulfill the man’s request to be tied up as part of a consensual scenario. However, when they arrived at the beach, the evening took a violent turn, PEOPLE reports.

After the victim allowed Cagle to bind his legs with rope, he began feeling uncomfortable and decided to call off the interaction. It was then that Cagle’s boyfriend  Wayne Streeter, 24, reportedly appeared, dressed in black, emerging from the shadows.

According to the victim’s statement to police, Streeter tackled him while Cagle allegedly struck him repeatedly with a hatchet.

Despite being injured, the victim managed to break free and ran, eventually flagging down a passing deputy for assistance.

Authorities responding to the scene located Cagle and Streeter in a car nearby, where they allegedly found blood on the vehicle and personal items belonging to the victim.

A search of the area uncovered further evidence, including rope and a hatchet sheath, scattered across the sand.

Streeter and Cagle were both arrested on charges that may include aggravated assault and battery.
