Roosevelt Elementary School principal, Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan and another teacher, Karly Anderson have been accused of hosting a wild party involving minors. These two have also been placed on leave following reports of drunkenness and aiding minors to be reckless.

The former school principal was arrested on January 19 right after hosting a house party for the teens. However, authorities report that over 100 children were exposed to alcohol. The women are now being charged with child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, per Florida Today.

WJXT reported that the free drinking caused a medical condition for one of the minors. Fortunately, first responders arrived in time to save the day. However, upon their arrival, Hill-Brodigan reportedly retreated into her home and turned off the lights.

Another teen was caught driving right after drinking. While the police were dealing with the recklessness of the teens, Anderson, 45, who was visibly drunk spoke to the police. She assured them that she was a teacher and was present at the party. This did little to ameliorate the situation as the authorities arrested Anderson and the principal of Roosevelt Elementary School.

Although the women were released after paying their bonds, they have been kept away from the school by Brevard Public Schools. The district confirmed that they are now on administrative leave. The district also assured the police of maximum cooperation to resolve the case while touting that its students’ safety is a priority.
