Florida Man Charged After Urinating On $10.5K Worth Of Vienna Sausages At Sams Club

At a Sam’s Club in Lady Lake, Florida, $10,500 worth of Spam and Vienna sausages were forced to be discarded after a man urinated on the products. Patrick Francis Mitchell, a 70-year-old retiree, was seen urinating in aisle 18, damaging 188 units of sausages and 345 units of Spam, according to the New York Post.

Surveillance footage shows him approaching the pallets, then standing with both hands in front of him, below his waist, for a few seconds.

Detective Ronnie Williams of Marion County said his “Behavior consistent with urination.”

Afterward, Mitchell was seen walking to the snack section and sitting on patio furniture for nearly 10 minutes. He then paid for his things at the register and exited the store. Later, he was apprehended at his home in the Village of Piedmont, a retirement community in Florida.

Mitchell is charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, a felony due to the damage being over $1,000. He has pleaded not guilty and is currently out on a $3,000 bond.
