A Florida teen deemed “a monster” snuffed out his own parents and sparked a gunfight with cops before getting killed.

Christos Alexander Themelis Jr., 19, took the lives of his parents’ 51-year-old father Christos Byron Themelis and his 48-year-old mother Rebecca Ann Themelis. Christos shot his dad inside of the home before offing his mom outside on the front lawn.

Police responded to a “frantic” 911 from the mother who told dispatchers that her son shot his father.

Christos engaged officers outside of the home after they witnessed him take his mom out execution-style with gunshot blasts to the back of her head, and then a shootout commenced, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said according to the NY Post reports.

“Stop reaching for your waistband,” a deputy screamed out during a video of the incident.

A shootout ensued where one officer was shot in the leg and Christos was shot and injured before crawling his way back into the home.

SWAT took him out.

The shooter had past run-ins with law enforcement and his guns were taken away as a result, Chronister said.  

“How did he have access to any type of firearm to be able to inflict this type of violence here this evening?” he asked. Chronister called the teen a “monster.”
