A Hoe, A Crime, and a Broken Heart! 47-year-old Melanie Davis lands in police custody after allegedly attacking a man with a gardening hoe for canceling plans with her.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that she visited the man’s home around 3 a.m. in the early hours of Tuesday. According to Fox 13 Tampa Bay, the irate and disappointed woman started yelling outside the man’s home in Frostproof, Florida.

After the fight, the suspect was taken to jail while the man was taken to receive medical attention. Melanie Davis is now charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, armed burglary with battery, simple battery, and criminal mischief.

This is not Davis’ first time with the Polk Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with battery at age 19 in 1997. According to jail records, she has been arrested 27 times in Polk County before this incident for charges ranging from petty theft to battery. In March last year, She was charged with domestic violence on an elderly citizen.

The violent takes it by force. However, Melanie Davis needs to understand that love cannot be forced!
