A Toledo man, Fonnie Virden, was arrested on June 4 after allegedly attacking someone with hot grease and bleach, according to court documents. He now faces a felonious assault charge and is being held on a $100,000 bond, per WTVG.

This incident follows prior charges against Virden, including aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct tied to a December 2024 event. During that earlier episode, he was accused of shouting profanities from a porch. He also refused to stop despite repeated police warnings.

While in custody for those charges, authorities say Virden threatened to kill and harm a victim.

Court records reviewed by local outlets, including WTOL and The Blade, show that Fonnie Virden remains in custody at the county jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 12.
