Julian Alcala and David McKnight are the disgraced officers who recently lost their badges in Missouri. Although the men do not work in the same district, they’ve been accused of similar crimes. They had obtained intimate photos and clips from women who willingly submitted their phones at traffic stops.

Alcala was part of the Florissant Police Department before he was stripped of his badge. According to the US Attorney for the Eastern District, the officer has now been charged with several counts. His charges include 20 counts of deprivation of rights and one count of destroying records in a federal investigation.

Alcala was accused of taking women’s phones during a traffic stop, under the pretense of confirming insurance coverage of a vehicle license. While at it, the 29-year-old officer would divert to their gallery, searching for nude content. Then he would allegedly send these private photos to himself. NBC News reports that it went on for about three months, and he managed to deceive twenty women.

David Mcknight was an officer with the Department Of Public Safety. He has been indicted on nine counts of deprivation of rights and one count of destroying records. The highway patrol officer began taking intimate content in September 2023. It lasted until August when an investigation commenced. McKnight resigned shortly after the investigations came to light. He was also arrested recently and a $10,000 bond has been set for his release.
