Former Virginia High School Teacher Who Allegedly Sold Vape Cartridges Containing THC and Nicotine to Students is Now Facing Multiple Charges

Kaitlyn Crescent, a teacher employed by Fairfax County Public Schools is facing numerous charges. The 28-year-old has been accused of selling Vape cartridges with THC and nicotine contents to her students.

Fox News reports that authorities got a tip from the Child Protective Services. The Department had been informed about Crescent’s atrocities since October 24, 2024. However, the police did not immediately arrest the suspect. Instead, they commenced an investigation. Soon, it was concluded that Cresent, from Alexandria, was indeed selling Vape cartridges with nicotine and THC. She focused mainly on her students at Falls Church High School.

The detectives in charge of the case realized that this had been ongoing for some months. In a statement, Crescent began sales around December 2023. From the inception to June 2924, she had sold the nicotine-laced substance to four students.

Following a conclusive investigation, the police arrested the teacher on December 30. Expectedly, Falls Church High School dissociated from the tutor whom they claimed was placed on administrative leave. Apart from losing her teaching job, Kaitlyn Crescent has been hit with serious charges. This involves contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and distribution of a controlled substance on School property. Lastly, she is charged with the Distribution of Tobacco/Hemp to a minor.

Before the incident, Crescent had worked as an employee of the Fairfax County Public Schools for four years. She was employed in August 2021 and was released on December 31, 2024. She also describes herself as a learning disabilities teacher via LinkedIn.
