A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against Sealy Mattress Manufacturing Co. following the tragic death of 27-year-old Joshua Armour.

Armour’s fiancée, Jasmine Jennings, alleges that the company failed to act responsibly when Armour, experiencing a mental health crisis, wandered onto their #Conyers, #Georgia, facility and was found dead inside a locked trailer, ANF reports.

According to the lawsuit, on October 22, 2024, Armour, a father of two, was in distress and called his brother, #Joe, saying he was trapped and didn’t know where he was. His family traced his phone to the Sealy facility. Despite informing Sealy employees of his presence, the family was denied permission to search the premises. The following day, Armour’s body was discovered inside a locked trailer on the property.

The lawsuit seeks damages for the family’s loss and alleges negligence on the part of Sealy in failing to ensure the safety of individuals on their property.
