A grieving mom, Charlotte Williams, keeps wishing she had been off work on the day her son, Jajuan Robinson, died. Robinson, aka Junior, was her only child whose life was tragically cut short by his own hands allegedly. Williams needs answers, as the police say they’re still investigating.

Devastated Mother Charlotte Williams Seeks Answers After 3-Year-Old Son Shoots Himself at Home

During an interview with WCCO, Charlotte Williams shared her story. The young mom couldn’t bring herself to accept the reality. She gazed at a video of her son saying “hi, I love you mom,” hours before his death. Trying to comprehend the loss was as hard as accepting that there was a gun in her household. William told the reporter that Robinson’s death was all her fault.

Reports say that the deceased, a 3-year-old happy child shot himself with a gun inside their apartment. On Monday, the Minneapolis Police Department reacted to a 911 call. According to the complaint, a boy was shot around midday. Meanwhile, his mother learned about the tragedy online and while at work. She had read about a boy getting shot in her apartment on Facebook. But it was not until she received a call from her babysitter that she got the gruesome picture.

Williams claimed that Robinson was kept in the care of an adult male babysitter. This was someone whom she trusted for the safety of her child. Apart from possible neglect from the babysitter, he also left a loaded and unlocked gun lying around.

Another family member, Meshia Woods, Robinson’s aunt, shared the same sentiment. She acknowledged that the babysitter loved the kid. However, this was not enough to erase his negligence. Thus she seeks justice even if it would involve the babysitter. Consequently, no arrest has been made yet; nobody has been hit with any charges. But the police are still neck-deep in their investigations.
