A deranged Nashville man was arrested for attacking a married couple with a machete at a Public Storage facility.
Kelvin Edwards, 35, walked into the office area of the establishment and immediately attacked Kevin Craft, 55, and Leanne Craft, 50, and continued slashing the couple without a word. When police arrived Edwards—who had a bin at the storage company—surrendered, explaining to cops he was homeless and angry that he couldn’t find placement at at a local shelter.
“Edwards spoke of his anger over the COVID-19 shutdowns and his inability to get into the Rescue Mission. It appears Edwards retrieved the machete from his bin and explained he decided to demonstrate his anger in the violent attack on the Crafts, who he did not know,” police said in a statement.
Do you think the stress from the pandemic is causing people to act violently?
