Homeless Man Fatally Hit By Train In Manhattan Subway Station

On Wednesday afternoon, an allegedly homeless man in his 30s died after being struck by a northbound E train at the Fifth Avenue-53rd Street subway station in Manhattan. A conductor saw him on the tracks moments before the shocking encounter. Medics pronounced him dead shortly after, per the New York Post

An MTA staffer told the news outlet, “He was a homeless man,” adding, “Do you think we want to see this?”

The identity of the man has yet to be released, and officials suspect no foul play.
