Michael Lee Murray drove through a car shop after his request was turned down. However, he was led out of the vicinity in cuffs.

Fox 13 News reported that Murray had dealings with Tim Dahle Mazda Southtowne car dealership in Sandy, Salt Lake City area. The customer had walked in on December 9, hoping to bag a ride he could afford. After dropping $4,000 for a Subaru brand, the man realized he was sold a “lemon.”

A lemon meant that the new ride had manufacturing issues that could compromise the driver’s safety. Reportedly, Murray quickly requested a refund. But upon his return, the dealership absolved themselves of any blame. They claimed that the vehicle was sold “as is.”

Meanwhile, the car purchase company maintained that they clarified things with the buyer. According to the manager, Tyler Slade, Murray was aware the car needed to be worked on.

Slade revealed that the driver threatened to ram through the building, which he did within minutes with the purchased Subaru. Although Slade added that they agreed to a refund or giving Murray a new car before he acted.

Yet, it was not enough to calm him down as images showed the angry customer near a shattered glass door. The police confirmed that Michael Lee Murray drove through the glass door, crashing into the front desk. Consequently, the company suffered $10,000 worth of damages, but fortunately, there were zero casualties.
