John Salley Weighs In On NBA Players Supporting COVID-19 Victims But Not Supporting Magic Johnson’s HIV Status

NBA Veteran John Salley sat down with VladTV to discuss the Coronavirus and how victims of the pandemic are receiving support.

During the interview, Vlad mentions the stigma the positive Coronavirus players will have even after they finish the quarantine period.

They also discussed the acceptance of NBA players with the virus versus Magic Johnson’s treatment when he announced his HIV status in the 80s.

John said,

”When Magic Johnson said it (he was positive) players like Karl Malone didn’t want to play against him. Then he played in the All-Star Game & Magic has been the statue of liberty showing he’s shining through.”
