A source had earlier revealed that Censori’s Grammy outfit was a nod to the 2024 Vultures1 album cover art. In his X post, the Yeezy founder said the dress was meant to convey a positive message and thanked Vogue for seeing the vision.
“Thank you to all the outlets who recognized us and gave us back the energy we put in But I have to give a shout out to the American Vogue team for writing an article that places my wife in a strong positive light and also recognizes rightful strength,” he wrote.

Ye also replied to those who speculated that he compelled Censori to wear the dress she chose. However, Ye added that he controls his wife’s choices. He wrote on X:
“I have dominion over my wife. This ain’t no woke ass feminist sh*t. She’s with a billionaire why would she listen to any of you dumb a** broke b******?”
He continued:
“People say the red carpet look was her decision. Yes, I don’t make her do nothing she doesn’t want to but she definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval.”
Kanye West also boasted on Tuesday, February 4, in deleted posts on Instagram that Bianca Censori beat the Grammys with her outfit and dominated Google trends. He backed up his claim by sharing stats showing there were more Google searches for his wife than “Grammy winners 2025,” and other popular trends like “kendrick lamar grammys” and “beyonce grammys.” He wrote in a follow-up post, “For clarity. February 4 2025. My wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth.”
