“After further reflection I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.”

West stunned many people over the last few weeks with his antisemitic, homophobic, and hate-filled comments on X. In one instance, he expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler, saying, “I love Hitler, now what b-tches. Afterward, he wrote:

“I’m a Nazi.”

In another post, he wrote, “Hitler was sooooo fresh.” He also asked to be called “Yadolf Yitler.” Therefore, it was not surprising that his account was deactivated. However, to many people’s surprise, the Yeexy owner’s account was restored this week, although it now carries a “sensitive content” warning.

Kanye West Promoted Nazi Symbol

One of Kanye West’s most controversial moves this year was the sale of a Nazi shirt. The t-shirt, which Ye cleared his catalog off Shopify to promote, featured a swastika on the front. The move generated severe backlash, and the e-commerce platform shut down West’s store on their platform. However, after returning to X, Kanye West clarified that the symbol on the t-shirt was not the Nazi swastika, adding that “No one seems to wanna produce me wittle t-shirt.”

The entrepreneur revealed that he always planned to produce clothing that bore the symbol. He also said that he never meant to troll the Jews. According to the Daily Mail, Ye’s fascination with the swastika was borne from seeing the symbol on clothing when he went to Japan.

“It felt illegal to even look at it [but then] I found out that swastika had many different meanings and many different names,” he said.

He also revealed that creating clothing with the symbol had been in the works for as long as eight years.

Kanye West Criticizes Shopify

Kanye West also ensured to register his displeasure with how Shopify handled his Nazi t-shirt situation. He reacted to his website being shut down and declared his “hate” for the company. He also warned other vendors to avoid the e-commerce platform, stating that Shopify had too much control over their brands.

“Anyone who’s on Shopify just know they control your market and they have all of your data which raises the value of Shopify while excluding the brands from that upside. (sic),” he wrote.

The Jesus Walks rapper also boasted that his antisemitic and hate-filled tirades didn’t affect his fortune in any way.

“I said all these politically incorrect things and nobody was able to stop me extort me threaten me to change anything and I made 40 million the next day between my different business,” he said.

However, Ye confessed that he lost a valuable resource when some staff, including Simon, one of his “favorite Yeezy designers,” who made Bianca Censori’s controversial Grammy dress, resigned.

Kanye West’s turnaround about no longer being a Nazi is not surprising to many, as the rapper is known for his highs and lows online. Meanwhile, some fans have noted that the rapper might be using his meds again since he recently revealed that he stopped using them after receiving a different diagnosis.
