Katt Williams has successfully turned his dream of building a movie studio into reality. He has purchased a former military base in Alabama, as confirmed by his publicist, Amy Sisoyev.
The exact price he paid and the specific location hasn’t been disclosed. However, speculation suggests it might be the Cold War-era barracks at Fort McClellan in Anniston, which was up for sale at $1.5 million.
In a recent interview with GQ, the 53-year-old Katt Williams talked about his plans to grow his entertainment empire. He credits his inspiration to industry powerhouses like Donald Glover, 50 Cent, and Tyler Perry.
“It’s just not fair to put all that pressure on Tyler Perry. He can only do so much.”
Williams said in the interview.
