Keyshia Cole’s home has burned to the ground. Her friend, celebrity hairstylist Jonathan Wright, revealed that the singer joined the growing list of those whose homes burned down in the raging L.A. fires. Wright shared that Cole didn’t feel the need to announce it, but he thought her loved ones, including her fans, ought to know about it. Friends and fans have showered Cole with love and prayers since the news.
Keyshia Cole’s Home Burns Down
On Jonathan Wright’s Instagram page, fans can see the remains of what used to be Keyshia Cole’s home. The hairstylist posted some images and a clip of the destroyed property and explained that the singer suffered a loss in the devastating L.A. fires. This adds Cole to the growing list of celebrities who have lost their houses since the Los Angeles fires began.
“Prayers to Freen and her Kids and family I ask everyone to send them a Prayer up lift her spirits,” Wright captioned his post.
The celebrity hairstylist revealed that they last saw the house in good condition a week before the wildfires. He wrote:
“She was also affected by the Fire, like literally a week ago we in Miami to come home to this is crazy like mind Blowing Freenn wasn’t gone say nothing I feel like she should cause this shii is crazy how this happened to everyone.”
In the clip he shared, everything in Keyshia Cole’s home burned down except for some pillars, concrete support, and patio chairs.

Celebrities Who Have Lost Their Homes
Keyshia Cole’s home is among many celebrities’ homes destroyed in the L.A. wildfires. However, she chose not to speak about it. Tina Knowles, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, and Mandy Moore have all lost their homes. Bella and Gigi Hadid also lost their childhood home in the fires. Additionally, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Ben Affleck, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Rob, Kendall, Kylie, and Kris Jenner all left their homes after receiving evacuation orders as the Kenneth fire moved towards the northeast of Calabasas.
The LA County medical examiner has declared the death toll to be around 16, and thousands of non-celebrity homes and structures have been damaged or burned down in the fires. Many have been rendered homeless as a result. Officials have declared the 2025 L.A. fires the most destructive in the city’s history.
Keyshia Cole’s home and every other home or property burning down was certainly not on anyone’s bucket list for 2025. Hopefully, everyone who has lost something in the fires will find the courage to rebuild and start all over.
