Kim Kardashian is responding to critics who had something to say about her 12-year-old daughter, North West’s new look, per Page Six.
The pre-teen sparked controversy online after dropping some new photos and videos posted to the pair’s joint TikTok account. North can be seen hanging out with friends while wearing waist-length blue braids, temporary face tattoos, a nose ring, colored contacts, and grillz. Her friends sported similar outfits and accessories in different colors.
The look quickly drew fuss online, with many commenters saying it was too mature for her age. Kim, 45, appeared to defend her daughter in a reply under a Daily Mail Australia TikTok post that featured the headline,
“North West, 12, worries fans with new look.”
From their shared account, @kimandnorth, Kim responded,
“This is such a non-issue😭.”
This isn’t the first time North’s fashion choices have stirred conversation. Back in August, Kim and North were seen in Rome, where North wore a corset, miniskirt, and a dermal piercing on her finger — a look that also faced backlash.
“She’s 12. Wtf is Kim doing?!”
one user wrote, while another added,
“Who the f— lets their 12-year-old have piercings? And who the f— pierces a 12-year-old? My kid didn’t even have her ears pierced at 12.”
