The man said Black paid the rent of several residents living in the housing community for two months. He also praised the artist’s desire to keep the information hidden and asked the public to make the news trend. Meanwhile, this is not Kodak Black’s attempt at generosity; he had previously expressed his desire to be known as a philanthropist.
Kodak Black Pays Rent For Multiple People
Vince Thompson recently revealed on social media that Kodak Black has been paying the rent of several individuals in Florida. Thompson made the revelation on social media that he quietly assisted 200 residents at the Golden Acres housing community in Florida. Thompson also revealed that Kodak Black had paid the rent for the second month in a row. It is unclear whether Thomson is a direct beneficiary of the payment or a witness. However, he encouraged the public to make the news trend like the negatives about Black.
In his now-viral post, he wrote, “He may not want the limelight, but for the 2nd month straight @KodakBlack has paid the rent for over 200 residents in Golden Acres the entire projects! A lot of people shine light on the negativity. I’m a see how many people share the positive things you do fam. You’re a blessing to a lot of people. Thank you!!”
Kodak Black Paid Rent For People In The Past
Kodak Black, Black, who is from Pompano Beach, is known for his generosity to friends, fans, and strangers alike. He has helped to cover people’s rent and donate items in the past. In July 2021, he donated 100 air conditioners to numerous residents in Pompano Beach. For this project, Black teamed up with Francky Pierre, who runs the Philanthropic Work and Outreach charity. He spent an estimated $12,500 on the window units and donated them to the Golden Acres Projects residents.
In 2022, Kodak Black also paid the rent of 28 families in danger of losing their homes. Not only did he pay their arrears, but Kodak Black also paid their rent for several months to settle them. He wrote in a social media post at the time, per HipHop DX: “28 Families Was Bout To Get Evicted For Being Behind On Their Rent A Few Months,” Kodak explained in a post. “I Paid What They Owed And Also Paid Their Rents For The Next Few Months So They Good For The Remaining Of The Year.”
Kodak Black Wants To Be Known As A Philanthropist
Beyond paying people’s rent, Kodak Black has expressed his desire to be known as a philanthropist rather than a gangster. At the time, he revealed his intentions in an Instagram Live, saying he wanted to make his mom proud.
“People care to be a gangsta, they care for n**gas looking at them like they some type of gangsta. I don’t give a fuck about that s**t you heard me? I don’t live for that.” He added, “I’m a philanthropist, a good n**ga, righteous, all that. I only worry about being a good son and making sure my mom is proud of me. Making sure my family proud of me.”
