A tragic crash that claimed the life of 74-year-old Alice Stack in Andover on Friday night has led to criminal vehicular homicide charges against 48-year-old Aloysius Johnson.

According to reports from CBS News, the fatal incident occurred near 165th Avenue Northwest and 7th Avenue Northwest. Authorities say Johnson was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and had been racing his wife home from a bar in Oak Grove.

He reportedly showed signs of intoxication during his arrest and was seen leaving the scene, according to witness accounts. Aloysius Johnson appeared in court on Monday and was later released on bond.

Neighbors are mourning Stack’s loss, remembering her as a warm and cherished figure. Kristine Iskierka, a close neighbor, told KARE 11 that Stack was like family, especially to her children, Nolan and Rheanna. Nobody should have to bear this, she expressed.

“She was full of love and kindness. We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday with her,” she said. In her memory, the family placed a wooden cross at the crash site. Iskierka added, “One person’s reckless choice changed so many lives. I want justice for Alice.” She referred to Aloysius Johnson’s reckless decision to drive drunk.
