A man was rescued from the bottom of a narrow pipe in Portland, Oregon, as reported by the NY Post. He was stuck there for hours and had no idea how he got there. People in a nearby building heard him screaming for help and called the fire department.

The responders arrived and found the man yelling from the bottom foot of a 40-foot-deep ventilation pipe in a parking garage. The pipe was very narrow, only about a foot wide. Thankfully, the crews were able to quickly free the man from the pipe.

The man told responders that he woke up in the hole and had no memory of how he ended up there. The man only had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
