Marcus Jordan’s Drug Charges Updated After New Discovery
Micheal Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan’s drug charges have been amended after a new investigation showed that he was caught with ketamine and not cocaine. Cops discovered a drunk Marcus in his car in a dangerous place on February 4. They also found a white powdery substance that initially tested positive for cocaine during the field test.
However, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement conducted additional tests after his arrest and discovered that the initial test was wrong. Consequently, Marcus Jordan’s drug charges were adjusted. He is now charged with ketamine possession, DUI, property damage, and resisting arrest.

He also pleaded not guilty to resisting arrest and waived his first court appearance. He is due to appear in court for the DUI charge on March 20.
Marcus Jordan’s Arrest And Drug Charges
Marcus Jordan’s DUI and drug charges stemmed from his encounter with Maitland, Fla., officers in the early hours of February 4. The police officers discovered the basketball icon’s son’s car stuck in train tracks and stopped to look. When they got to Marcus’ blue Lamborghini, they found him dead drunk inside. Meanwhile, local dispatch assessed that a train was about 10 minutes away from the location. According to the arrest note, Marcus’ speech was slurred, and he had “bloodshot eyes.”
Moreover, there was a strong alcohol odor coming from him, and he confirmed that he was coming from a strip club where he had consumed alcohol. He was charged with cocaine possession when officers retrieved a plastic white bag with a white substance. Arresting officers claimed that Marcus was aggressive and refused to get in the police car. He also refused to take a breathalyzer test and requested for Mariah Carey’s song to be played on the way to the holding station while the stench of alcohol grew worse in the car.
Fans are happy that Marcus Jordan’s drug charges have been updated to reflect ketamine and not cocaine. However, some netizens remain skeptical about the former athlete’s life choices. Hopefully, Marcus will get the help he needs and stay out of trouble.
