Dr. Fermin Morales who worked at New Life Plastic Surgery and West Miami-Dade’s Boutinic Aesthetics has been accused of murder. Sources confirmed that the plastic surgeon was running his practice out of a strip mall where he endangered a patient in 2023.

In 2023, Morales was a surgeon at Venus Cosmetic Institute/DASO Plastic Surgery when he encountered a desperate patient. The unnamed woman who goes by the initials S.L., was a 40-year-old who wanted a Brazilian butt lift or a liposuction with fat grafting.

According to the Miami Herald, Morales injected fat into the wrong area of the patient’s glutes. During the process, the surgeon used an ultrasound which was a normal procedure. However, he ended up Injecting the wrong muscle and such practice violates the Florida Administrative Code.

Unfortunately, a few hours after the surgery, the patient passed away, showing that the impact was instantaneous. This was the first time that Morales would be accused of such ineptitude. The New Life Plastic Surgery and West Miami-Dade’s Boutinic Aesthetics surgeon has since maintained an exceptional record.

Dr. Fermin Morales first received his medical license in 2011, two years after the American Board of Surgery ranked him as a board-certified member. However, this is not the first time a surgeon from the center has been accused of such inefficiency. A year after Morales’ unsafe surgery, Dr. Naveed Nosrati was decked with a malpractice lawsuit.

He had performed a botched abdominoplasty leading to pulmonary embolism. Another doctor named Julio Calvijo-Alvarez from The New Life Plastic Surgery and West Miami-Dade’s Boutinic Aesthetics was accused of pre-signing blank prescription forms. This was after a messed-up BBL.
